As we grow closer to the end of the year and the coming of the year 2012—the year when great changes are prophesied, we feel a collective sense of insecurity that may shake our faith that everything ultimately is going to be okay. Change can be scary. However, it is at times like these that we most need to continue our spiritual practices. There is a center of peace within each of us that is never shaken regardless of any turmoil going on around us. It is to this center that we are able to turn to whenever the changes around us become threatening. Change is inevitable, and many of the changes that are occurring are beyond our individual capacity to avoid, but we then remember that our power is limited, but God’s Power is limitless. When we align ourselves with that Infinite Power of Spirit, we can free ourselves from fear. We can recognize our Oneness with the Creator and Its creation. As we do so, we know the power to bring about the positive knowing that we have as a spiritual community. As we prepare to cross the bridge into the coming new year, we know deep within that the changes that are coming are leading us to the fulfillment of our vision of creating a world that works for everyone.
